Title: Radiant heat piping
Post by: johnybcold on February 06, 2013, 01:17:53 PM
It is time for Project #owf17, time to get ride of the freezing floor tiles, I am installing radiant heat under the flooring from the basement, hopefully removed the insulation was the worst part, I was thinking I could just come off the supply manifold with some kind of thermostatic valve that would keep the floor at a certain temp, then have the other end of the line feed into my return manifold I was gonna stick with the one pump outside which I will be changing from a 007, the local plumbing shop did not have the valve is there another name for it?  Does my setup seem ok?

Ayuh,....   I guess you could use a zone valve, 'n a T-stat in the room to control it.....
