Johnyb - I have the same unit as you do and I do not see anywhere where there are LED's in the gray air box in the rear. Do you have a photo that you can post? I'm very interested why you have them and I do not. I have looked everywhere in my manual and nothing is said about those LED's. Roger
-
I have the same one also, no led lights there. Send a pic
-
There are on the left side on the grey box the fan blows into I will post a pic later

If mine has them, I have never seen them. I'll take a quick look over the weekend. It'll be interesting what they are intended to do.

took me awhile to figure out how to post pics I thought I did it before guess not there should be 2 pics here of the 2 lights I am talking about

What year is yours ? Mine does not have that, this is my second season.
-
Thanks for the pics. Mine doesn't have that. I too wonder, how old is your e1400? I'm on my 2nd year too.
-
I am in my second year but I purchased a left over they had in stock so it is probably 3 years old wonder why they got rid of them, I have a call into my dealer
-
johnb - Any word yet from your OWB dealer regarding the LED lights in the rear of you e1400? Roger
-
The lights go on when air is flowing through a open solinoids, so the top light goes on when air is flowing through the primary, and the bottom goes on when air flows through the high burn.
-
My controller gives me that same information. I wonder why they felt they needed a redundant set up on yours? Perhaps that's why they no longer put the LEDs on the gray box. Of course, I'm assuming that your e1400 controller indicates when it's in low/high burn. Roger
-
Yes the controller does too, I was thinking the LEDs are to help in any of blocks up because they go be air flow
-
Johnyb - That makes sense. But, I check mine monthly to be sure nothing is blocked. If I feel there is too much build up I simply clean it out. Roger
-
Ya I seem to have to remove them and clean them monthly part of the routine
