Wow! What a difference a year makes! Last year we had the earliest and warmest spring I can remember, and this year is exactly the opposite. It is miserable here in Michigan, stiff East wind, rain/snow with windchills in the 20's. The extended forcasts I watch show no real changes for the next 3-4 weeks! I started a fire in the owb at the end of September and she has been going since. Looking at a real 8 month heating season, if I didn't like burning wood I would probably be in a bad mood.

Yah! The snow is slowly melting though. So much for global warming. I was down South in Wisconsin yesterday and all the snow is gone. It's 2013. 13 is an unlucky number.

Thank goodness for global warming, just imagine how cold it would be without it! At this rate I'm going to run out of wood by the end of May. ;D

NW Minnesota just got hit with anywhere from 3-12" of snow. Further west out into the dakotas got almost 2 feet of it. ish ish ish

Guys commenting about global warming...you do realize what the term global means right? :bash:Sorry I couldn't resist.

Its slowly getting better here on the West side of Michigan.

That just sounds like all kinds of not fun. Where are you at, the U.P.? It was actually kind of nice in the bottom of the thumb yesterday. We even hung clothes out to dry. But, good old Michigan, forecast says 50mph winds, low 30's, and snow for later today.

Wow, that's way too much snow for this time of year. It's trying to snow here right now and tomorrow they're saying record lows. I like the Tawas area myself, nice area. I like that area where you are also, bounced around there a little. Ever been to Abe's pub in Hurley? Found that on accident one night.
