Title: Insulated pex

Looking on ebay and found a good deal on some 3-5 wrap insulated pex. Is there benefits to O2 barrier to non? Big price difference on the two just want to know the difference.

OWB would need oxygen barrier for anti corrosion reasons.

Oxygen barrier pex is for systems where you don't ever want o2 in the system, with nearly all owb's they are open systems and not pressurized so there is no benefit to the o2 barrier pex because o2 is everywhere
