I have ran across a deal on a used Hardy H-4 furnace. Its too good to pass up. Can any body tell me much about these things?
I was all set to buy a Heatmaster, but this deal has me thinking that If it works half as good as I'm hoping I will make money on it even if If its junk I can get my money back on scraping it to the metal recycle places.....

My son in law has the H4 and it works great. His house is about 2000 sq. ft. upstairs and the same in the finished basement. Keeps it nice and warm and only loads once per day.

I just got my H4 online at the end of March. It works really well and keeps my 2500+ sq feet toasty warm. I have learned it's going to be a tree eater! :o

Harry's are good, just be prepared to spend a lottt of time cutting wood, they love it

If you get it, don't scrimp on the insulated pex. I cut my wood use almost in half when I went from a H2 to a H4 in our new house.
I thought I would burn more wood, because it is bigger and the house is a little bigger plus I am heating a 30 x 50 shop.
I got some good insulated pex from z supply and put the boiler about 40 feet from the house.
