To all my OWB friends - How's everyone making out in this tropical like rain we've been experiencing? I guess from the news reports a couple of roads in my town as well as a neighboring town have washed away. People who were stranded in their homes have been safely evacuated to shelters. So far, my road remains in tact. Our public works dept has done a great job of keeping the drainage ditches working as they should. Thankfully I've had minimal water in the basement of my house. After today it looks like the weather will be turning for the better with sunshine. I looked at back at the weather history for our area and this isn't even the wettest summer we've ever had. So, all I can say is be careful everyone and watch out for the large puddles. They may be deeper than they look. Roger

My driveway keeps washing out but at least we have no forest fires here in Maine, I can fix the drive but I'm to old to wait for more wood to grow !

If it came to the point of having to build an ark, unlike Noah I'm going to swat those 2 mosquitoes. :) Roger

NICE but what would the bats eat

Well, gosh, I don't know, but I'm hoping they would adjust. :)

Rained every day here for 3 weeks

Ive been experiencing electrical issue in my home and none of the electricians will open the meter socket which is outside while it's raining for fear of electrical shock. No sense of adventure. ;)

We normally get around 40" of rain per year. Already at 45" and this is July lol
