Post by: newbie to boiler on August 02, 2013, 06:53:29 PM
Hi we purchased a Used 2 year old heatmaster mf5000 in great condition ....Things we are going to do ...
First we are going to use 1 inch pex
Roughly 70 feet underground maybe 2 feet grade up hill from stove to basement wall and 8 feet straight up and in to floor joist
then 25 feet to hot water heater to a 30 plate water to water heat exchange with 1 inch fittings
then 15 to 20 feet to heat exchange 16x 18 3 1/2 thick one inch fittings so roughly 240 feet loop
My question is I need a pump that runs constant or not
Would a Taco 011 f4 be what we are looking for ?

A Taco 0011 should work fine. Just make sure there is no place for air to get trapped in the pipe before the pump. Those pumps don't like even a little air getting in them.
