Title: Water test kit
Post by: plumb bob on September 05, 2013, 03:22:26 PM
Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a "fresh" water test kit for fall. My system does have a-freeze.

Thanks in advance

Bob

Good luck, I do water testing but the antifreeze throws everything off to where ya really can't tell what's going on.  At least on my testing equipment

BUY YOUR TEST KIT AND SOLUTION FROM THE MANUFACTURER. when you purchase generic treatment, the manufacturer has no way of knowing that you have purchased it or are putting it into the boiler, you may void your warranty.

Some manufacturers won't deal with the public directly.

These companies who hand you a packet of ph strips make me chuckle, you gotta do your best to do what they recommend but people trusting a 12,000 dollar investment to a ph strip, well, I Donno

We do! I would not even consider doing buisness with a company that relies on others to supply products for thier boilers, what a logistical nightmare that must be, customer service is key in any buisiness
