How bad are the bricks, I am very familiar with that boiler, I just replaced all the bricks in the bottom of two of them and made it burn much cleaner, the boiler can be split in half at the base to make access to the brick very easy, when I did it we used two bases from our P+M 250's to open up the chamber in the bottom, what a difference, it also should help to make the brick last much longer as there is very little flame impingment on the brick. I have very limited internet service here on the job but if you PM me with your contact info I will call you in a couple of days with my information
