Yep, you read it right. I was talking to a guy on a jobsite today who had ordered wood from a guy in central Wisconsin.
The guy has a Christmas tree farm and wanted the oak and maple logged off 10 acres at a time so he could plant more Christmas trees.
Apparently there was a misunderstanding between he and the logger and SEVERAL HUNDRED acres were logged i.e. 10,000 cords of oak and maple.
Imagine having 10,000 cords of wood you can't use :bash:
With the cost of wood in northern Wisconsin your sitting on $1,000,000.00 worth of wood.

10,000 cords of wood ...here in ontario (if you are talking full cords 4x4x8) you are talking 30,000 face cords...you can sell that to the city folk for about 75 bucks a face cord here in ontario..............Two Milliom, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand dollars...heaven on earth
