Title: Water to air heat exchanger

Which is the inlet and which is the outlet on a typical water to air heat exchanger installed upstream of the fan???  Thanks for the help, trying to finish ip with my install ???

Don't know if it makes a difference but I try and install so the inlet is at the bottom and the outlet at the top.  The thinking is that air will push out more easily.

I don't think there is really a wrong way other than both ports at the bottom, I try to do them on the side with the water leaving the heat exchanger on the blower side.
