I am currently using a overhead modine (which is undersized for my shop) supplied by my OWB,I recently found a good deal on a second modine.
My question is, has anybody hooked two heaters together. should I hook them inline or tee them and feed separately.

What is the Delta T across the supply and return of that one that you have now? If it is more than 20 degrees or the return temp is belw 140 degrees then they should definatly be plumbed in parralell and controlled seperately, hot air units feel like they are blowing cold air below 140 degree water temps. If it were me, I would do a primary loop that feeds 2 sets of closely spaced tee's to the unit heaters and run seperate controls.

If all you are doing is adding a 2nd smaller unit instead of replacing with one large, put them in parallel.
As mentioned above, make sure you have the necessary flow to handle the BTU output that you want.
