I got a couple strap on temp guages on Line from Boston Heating Supply ($20.00 pc). I wanted to see how much I have lost on the return line. First thing I did is took the guages to the basement and straped them on a 1" copper line side by side. There is a 6 degree difference between the two guages. Not gonna do me much good.

Most temp guages will have a calibration screw on the back of the guage to adjust it

Maybe that's what I need to do on mine. I bout a strap on that was about 20 deg off. I noticed that screw but I wasn't aware that you could adjust them. I'll give it a shot!

I didn`t notice any screws on these. I`m sure I looked. I`ll have to check again.
