Post by: oz on February 05, 2014, 07:08:19 PM
having a heck of a time trying to find a supplier for valves and fittings on the web for 1 1/4 pex or 1" logstor. trying to get some prices for a grand total to present to the banker {wife} for my business plan for future OWB install. anyone know of a supplier on the web that has prices for this size?

Thanks

For the Logstor you need to look for metric 26/32mm pex fittings. It is not 1",only advertised that way.

1-1/4" fittings will be a little easier to find but a lot of companies only go up to 1". You can use crimp fittings on the 1-1/4" pex but I doubt you find anything but compression for the metric size.

One place that handles 1-1/4" is Grainger.

Might want to look for a valve with threaded or sweat connections and buy the appropriate Pex fitting to connect to that.  I know it might add a few more peices and $$ to assembly but most suppliers don't have a valve with 1.25" PEX connection

I bought mine off of eBay.  I went 1-1/4" PEX to 1.5" threaded fittings and from there it was easy to get a valve or union or whatever else I needed.

Actually you could go from 1 1/4" pex to one inch fittings and not loose flow any from the one inch stuff.

While that is very true, I was getting most of my other fittings for free and it was easier to plumb most of it in 1-1/2" for the thermometer wells I was using and the pump flange fittings.
