just a friendly reminder to everyone w/ owf, since we are having an obudance of snow and cold this winter season.
make sure you remember to shovel out a path for the oil or propane man so he doesnt have trouble getting to your fill neck. those guys are so nice, you wouldnt want them to have to work harder than needed to get to it. >:D

Not to be a wise guy or anything, but if you have a OWB, why would you even see the propane or oil guy?
I suppose if you have a LP clothes dryer or stove, okay.
Got lucky with nat gas here, but my bill is the minimum that can be paid.

was trying to be funny since i've been driving around lately seeing people making paths to the sides of their house.
it a wonderful feeling not having to do that anymore!!

LOL every weekend I see the propane guy go by while im cleaning out my stove. I just laugh out loud and think man hes got to hate seeing this thing lol.
-
LOL, I would clear a path but we have not had hardly any snow, were are in a serious drought. The only money the propane co. Is getting from me will be for the tank rental, love my OWB

My propane company won't like me when I get mine installed at this house next year. Right now they're giving me a "deal" that the tank rental is free when I buy 330+ gallons a year from them. I'm going to be buying a smaller tank when I get the boiler installed here so I can get my propane from whoever I want and whenever I want.

My ex-oil guy probably wouldn't even talk to me now,When I was setting up the stove he came by and said "Oh what, you think your goin to save a buck or two" I told him I hope so if nothing else I wont have to listen to you piss and moan about draggin the hose around the house. The only thing I really miss about him is he did have nice calenders to hand out every year.

The oil delivery guy hasn't stopped by my house for the past 18 months but I still clear a path to the fill tube out of habit. I should add that the inspection tag that "supposed" to hang from the fill tube is "missing". ^-^ If that tag was there, they would fill it even though I've told them not to and to remove me from their auto-fill program. So, the delivery guy can't fill it even if he wants to. Roger

Roger,
I had that same problem, they would come and "check" it then fill.
I spoke with them several times and they never stopped.
They were bought out and now I have (2) free 100 gallon tanks.
