Title: Door Gasket

Looking to replace my door gaskets in the spring on my stove just wanting to make sure I am right and that they are 1" rope??

They're not all the same across the board for every brand but 1" is common. There are many folks who like the siliconized version, I've always used the regular rope ones, some style stoves use a flat gasket, you can look at this one and see if it is like the one you have now: http://www.altheatsupply.com/fire-rope.html (http://www.altheatsupply.com/fire-rope.html)

 Heat Master uses a standard 1 inch fire rope. Pull the old one out, clean up behind it a bit, put a bead of high temp silicone in and then the rope. Do not stretch the rope at all when putting it in. Let the door stand open long enough for the silicone to harden.
