Title: Actuator replacement on a Wood Doctor
Post by: oldchenowth on February 18, 2014, 01:18:13 PM
Does anyone have experience with replacing the Honeywell draft actuator on a Wood Doctor HE5000?  It appears to be somewhat of a pain in the rear to get to.  My first instinct is to remove the entire tube to get to it.  Any better suggestions before I get the new one and rip something apart I don't need to?  It doesn't look like they left much extra room to maneuver around in there to replace that sucker.

looks like you just remove the 3 bolts on the front the bolts go threw to the mounting plate on the back

Took care of it Friday.  A little more involved than first thought, but not all that bad.
