Too expensive.

A good marketer can still get over $4.50/bushel of shelled corn, too expensive to burn. When it was $2/bushel I was even playing around with a prototype corn burner.

Gave up on it once corn was profitable again instead of losing money soon as it went in the ground. Also didn't feel it was right to burn a food source while people in various sh*tholes around the world were starving.

Agreed.  Kinda like Ethanol and Biodiesel

I don't care for ethanol at all, bio-diesel does have it's place though. Bio-diesel helps to replace the sulfur that used to be in diesel fuel that acted as a lubricant for injection pumps and injectors. Whether it actually burns cleaner or not is up for debate.
