Yes some more winter weather is headed for the central midwest, but I believe the negatives are over.

Not here!  It finally warmed up enough to melt the snow.   I got one good day of cutting in and now we're supposed to get more snow this weekend and below zero temps next week.  I think I'm done with winter.  Next!

AirForcePOL, I didn't see any negatives. Single digits, but I am a little bit south of you.

A tiny settlement called Meppen. Just a bit south west of Jerseyville,  nestled between the Illinois and Mississippi rivers.

Have not see any robins yet here in Mn.  -26 this morning with 2ft of snow on ground..  The snow is making a lot of extra work to get out and cut wood...  Was kind of hoping all the wind yesterday would have blown all our snow down to Iowa   ;D

NO Brad, all the snow and wind came to Michigan.  +5 this morning blowing like hell.  Drifts as high as the car.  HAd enough

AirForce  -  Bite me, I think I'm done.  I am so sick of this crap.  The novelty of winter is long gone.  We won't see all the snow melted until 4th of July, just in time to snow and freeze again.

You guys are crakin me up!  Am I the only one still enjoying the cold??   :bag:  I fully acknowledge that I'm in southern Indiana.  A tropic paradise compared to some of your northerners!!

I just posted a minute ago but I guess it didn't show up.  Must be the NSA screening my posts.....

I have been through Jerseyville a time or two.  Sometimes I ride my motorcylce around your area by the river.  It's nice riding down there.

I am waiting to see what we are going to get this weekend.  Some models suggest 3-4 on the light side and 8+ inches on the high side.  I'm already burning into next years wood!!! I'm going to get my electric heatpump fixed soon so I can shut the boiler down sooner this year.

I haven't heard the predicted amounts yet, but I know they are calling for snow tomorrow, and snow, sleet, freezing rain for Saturday night into Sunday.
We do have some nice riding here. Between the bluffs and rivers, you'd be challenged to find much better in the area.

Is Illinois really considered a southern state? I know we are on this board, but overall? Just curious.
