Was watching my local news (wabi Bangor Maine) this morning, their was talk on putting even more restrictions on burning wood Maine! The funny thing is, their meeting was a PUBLIC MEETING in Boston mass! Why not in Maine, if it's about Maine??

That meeting was for Federal EPA regulations, our DEP was represented by Jaimee Farren and her boss Mark Cone, they did invite me to go along with them but I feel that it would have been a waste of my time, the Feds have an agenda and I certainly have learned that when they get something in their heads we the people have very little to add to the conversation in their opinion, Maine DEP, I believe has changed a bit with the new regime and would sooner see some of these regulations stricken and a bit more common sense as well as problem solving used in the field instead of the heavy hand of regulation used.
