:pic: Every time while reading an old thread and not so old thread, I see a picture was posted but then deleted, some of these threads are not more than a couple of months old. I enjoy looking at pictures that further enhance the conversations.

It was done to make more space I guess, I seen something about the space allotted for pictures was nearing full.

No space for pics will keep the site traffic low. I am one of those guys who needs to see a picture of something. I actually gave up checking olds threads because of the "deleted for space" pictures.

Same here.
I usually catch on pretty quick, but some things I just have to see to grasp it.
But being that it was a space issue and since I don't see any adds or popups on this site, somebody is paying for the web hosting out of their own pocket, more storage equals more $$$.

Instead of uploading images to my post, I put in an HTML reference to the pictures so they hopefully won't delete them. I just upload my pics to photobucket, then in my post on here I just type the following:
Img src="http:\\www.photobucket.com\folder\image.jpg" and you have to put < > around the outside of the whole command or it won't work. You also have to use the quotation marks just like I typed or it won't work. I couldn't do it above or it would have tried to find that image and insert it into the post. Since doing it this way is a link to the image, and not the actual image itself, it shouldn't take up server space so they shouldn't delete it.

I noticed that myself so I opened a Fliker account and use the app on my phone. That way I just have to cut and copy the link address into the email and it will always be there.
