Title: Wood to Oil
Post by: coolidge on March 02, 2014, 04:34:40 AM
Do you suppose the Mod. Could come up with a way where all of us could post how much wood we burn per year ( average) for a set period of time, so we could actually see how much in terms of money we are NOT sending to BIG OIL.    Any guesses?

That's a great Idea Coolidge, we could do a column on gassers and one for conventionals and estimate how many gallons of oil or gas. What do you say Mods.

If you want to figure it these 2 links should get you close.  Quick check oil is 10x as much.

Trint,     We would like to add up all the cords the members on this site burn, get a total and then compare to oil.
