Hi all,
I have a Husky 562 xP, purchased in December, has run 15 tanks of gas through, recently...last couple days, the oiler has stopped putting out enough oil to work correctly. Came set up with oiler adjustment in middle position. Just tried turning it up, still not putting out oil as it should.
What are the steps to trouble shoot this problem? What should I look for? Should I just take straight to dealer?
Thanks

First thing to check is whether the hole in the bar is plugged with chips, more often than not thats what happens to mine.
Also had the vent for the oil tank plug up once on a old Homelite. Would oil for a little bit then stop, loosen the cap then it would oil agin for awhile.
If that isn't it, what you do from their depends on how mechanically inclined you are.

I have to agree with mlappin - line from oil to chain bar clogged up.
I have had that happen to mine.
Take the bar completely off and blow out the bar cover and saw with high pressure air. That took care of mine. When you put the bar back on, turn it over

Not sure how similar they are, but I had to pull the oiler tube out to the edge where the cap goes and feed some tie wire up through the oiler hole to get my little Poulan Pro going yesterday.
