Title: Portage & Main Optimizer 350

We are back. After burning the 350 for less than two seasons the 2 1/2" air tubes (the Lowest tubes) in the fire box have split and started to open on both sides. Still have issues with fresh air plenum accumulating tons of creosote.

Morgan, Glad you are back, sorry to hear of your latest issues, I have spoken with your dealer Brad and he confirms your issue, I have also spoken with Brian and he has asked me to try and help. Iwould like very much to help you solve as much as we can, you may consider me your go between with Brian and I will do my best to keep you both as happy as I can, I PM'd you my phone number and am awaiting your call, I have a couple of ideas you may want to try.

If you have the new style air box cover unhook the lower left hasp. If the old style remove some of the sheet metal screws. I know this is the opposite of what SlimJim encourages, but give it a try for a couple days.
