I just purchased a new stihl pro 261c with a 20 inch bar to replace my old, I REPETE my old husky Rancher44 that melted down. I am really impressed, now this is a great running saw! I only have ran two tanks of gas through this saw so far and it runs like a banshee, can hardly wait till after it is broke in. I had a hard time deciding between the ms261c pro or the ms291 the dealer said the 261 would rap faster, have more power, and is about pound lighter than the 291. This saw starts like a dream. I have ben told it is all in the stroke of this engine. It is a little Monster, it stays right with my son in laws ms 291. ;D

I run an 026. Been through LOTS of cords. It's light weight and screams.

Been real happy with the MS362 I bought last winter, well except for the stupid flippy caps.

I have had my MS260 - 18" bar since 2005. I have spent a lot of time cuting up some big oaks with that saw and ran hard. Great running, light and can keep up with my buddies 290's just fine. I got a 362 last year, but still use the 260 for smaller stuff; it still runs like new.
