Post by: coolidge on April 02, 2014, 05:55:16 PM
Slim,

What is the max btu output on your chip burner?
By the way could you tell your wife to turn down the t stat on yours, these 50 degree days are messing with my wood cutting.

The factory rates it at 500,000 Btu's but much more can be accomplished with the perfect chip, we have one in Vt that runs paper grade hardwood and it feeds a 750,000 Btu dry kiln with a differential of 20 degrees between the supply and return.
