Just thought all the parts and stuff they offered would be helpful for some of you out there, they have a downloadable catalog!

				Jwood,

I use these folks all the time. They are good to deal with and are good people, all of them!

Awesome glad to hear that I like the look of the dragons breath units as well!

-
				Try z supply

USA made mostly, they buy everything they can in priority, us, north America, democracies, then China

 The quality is there

Anyone notice the taco circs and their "bronze cartridge" option. They are cast iron bodies with a bronze cartridge. I didn't know there was any difference, cause all the cartridges I have here are stainless jacket and stainless shaft. And last I checked a lot of the bronze circs were discontinued and stainless units were offered instead. Since the cost of materials and low lead BS went into effect. It seams misleading ,,,,, along with some of their blogs.

3 of the last 5 Taco 2400-20 OWB pumps were dead on arrival

They are a dry rotor design and air cooled, but for whatever reason the paint on them has been driven into the motor and locked them up.  The pump didn't have the power to break the paint loose that was locking the shaft.  Another disappointment
-
Are those all coming from that website or taco pumps in general?

I just feel quality control is getting away at taco, how else could they allow pumps to be shipped locked with paint.  Its beyond me

But here I am using a taco bumblebee haha

				Good info!

-
They all seem to be pushing the Chinese knock offs at the internet websites, this is why I buy my circs at my local supply house, they are genuine and if I have a problem I can easily drop it off next time I'm there for a replacement with no questions asked.

-
Do you have a preference on pumps slim, also has anyone used an alpha as the supply and return pump just for the boiler?

-
When I do my install I use grundfos, if the customer already has taco on the heat loops then I will continue with them so they do not have multiple spares.

-
I like grundfos more as well but how do you feel about the alpha pump?

-
Good zone or radiant loop circ.

-
				Thanks slim

-
				You are more than welcome!
