Stay away from mastercraft doors, they are absolute junk. Spent big money on French doors and they leak water though the mouldings around the glass and through the seal on the sill plate. Can't even install my hardwood floor until I get this problem fixed!

No fun. Where did you buy them?

Isn't Mastercraft Menards brand? Or does Menards handle them?
We replaced the old door on the back of the house with a Mastercraft when we remodeled, but its under ten foot of porch so water hasn't been a problem.

Mlappin that is correct Menards owns Mastercraft, so when someone has a complaint they pass the buck to Mastercraft and then Mastercraft won't do crap usually. I went to menards yesterday prepared for whatever they told me. I told them about the problem and he said I can fill out a complaint form, and then asked who installed it? I said I did and he gave me a look like ohhhh.......I then said its a door its not surgery I have installed plenty of doors, and that it does not matter who installed it that it has no reason to leak from the glass.

If they won't do crap for you then a small bead of silicone on the weatherstrip to the glass will seal it. Any picture of where it's leaking on the sill?

I sealed the windows with a product called Ultima it has a better adhesion than silicone. They are leaking on each of the bottom corners of the door I'm definitely not the first victim lol. Just a minor setback now I will be putting storm doors on, of course due to the door being a true French door I'm pretty limited on Whata available. I'm going to get Larson Lakeview doors for $300-$325 a piece plus the conversation kit for another $100 but I'll pay it rather than destroy my house from leaking water!
