People in Maine should also take a look at this Boiler as an alternative
-
Does it pass phase two?
-
No it does not but there is a loophole in chapter 150 that allows coal burners to be sold here in Maine without EPA tags as long as they meet the criteria for conventional units and burn coal!
KINDA DUMB AINT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I wonder if all that will change when the new regulations go into effect. Does anyone have a link so that we can all read what is their proposed ideas for 2015?
-

Is there an EPA Phase III in the plans for what is left for OWB's, after Phase II kicks in?

How far are you willing to bow down to the government the only Freedom I find in this country anymore is when I go to Church and Praise God for what I have some things you put up with others you need to stand your ground there is only one flag that flies over my homestead and it says Don't Tread On Me

Likewise BigWood

Had two customers stop by an check them out and loved them

Bigwood you should see how well the ones Danny and I have installed down here in ct. are running, I'm very impressed! Those that can still get them would be wise to do so before the January deadline from the Feds. Again Maine can have the shakers for coal and Connecticut can have both the shaker and brick models.

When BL Ultimizer production ceases at Portage & Main, how long will Portage & Main continue to make parts for the units? ???
In the U.S., there is some law that says parts must be available (for cars) from the manufacturer for 20 years or so after the end of production. Just curious if Canada has anything like that. :)
-
They will still do parts' we can still get them from the old ML series built in the 70's
-
The best thing about this BL is it comes apart real easy and as a welder rebuilding older boilers and doing repairs this boiler will be a piece of cake to keep it running for years to come get them in now and they well keep going just like that bunny
