I am trying to sell one. It is empty, Does anyone know approx value of one of these things. The local propane company is offering me $575. Seems fair but I just wanted to make sure.
If anyone wants to buy it from me cut it in half and make a home made boiler, I will give you a discount. ;)

That seems like a decent price.

Agreed, $575 is a very good price for you if it is a typical used tank. If it is pretty new (less than 10 years old) you might get a little more for it.
I watch them on the local Craigslists around here and rarely see them priced at more than $1/gallon.

I have bought stainless milk tanks for thermal storage, all insulated with a nice man door for one dollar per gallon, take the money!

Alright thanks guys. Gonna take the money and run.

it must be in great condition. The corner fuel & feed store sells old ones for $250-$450 ---300-1000gal , remember the old silver painted tanks
