Does any one know where to get the black end caps to finish the install of the logstor ? I have spoke with two different
people at portage and main and they have both told me logstor does not make them. I see in sloppys install pictures that he has them so they must make them.
-
I have seen them but never used them, I'll put a call in to my Logstor rep today and see if he can send you a couple of them, They do finish the install up nicely don't they?
-
Thanks Slimjim, I just like everything looking finished up and that really cleans up the install.
-
I just E-Mailed my contact and he is in western Canada for the rest of the week at some sort of seminar but I will call his accomplice in Quebec today and see what he can do for us
-
Thanks Slim !!!!!

Is your pipe in the ground yet? I gather it was OK where Danny and I left it?
-
Not yet I am working on the deck, have to keep the misses happy. I am trying to get my building permit for the boiler install. Just incase the building inspector wants to check the pipe install before it is covered. Yes that was perfect where you and Dan put it.

BUSY BUSY BUSY, let me know if I can help in any way!
-
Will do and thanks !!!!! I am trying to gather all the parts before I get rolling with the install. I am ordering the weil mclain indirect water heater this week and the fittings to finish up the boiler to heat exchanger side of the install.

I purchased my Logstor underground piping from Classic Comfort in Ohio. They are the largest Logstor distributer in the midwest and have the Logstor endcaps (I have no idea on price; they threw mine in for free with the pipe purchase). Great guys, informative, and friendly. They'll hook you up. Their telephone number is 888-296-3875.

Seems like those Canadians take a little more pride in customer satisfaction, everything I buy from up there seems like a well built product. If there is a problem they are on top of it with answers. Why cant we have some of that in this damn country. Ohhhhh I forgot. GREED!

That's not quite so true anymore, labor costs have actually gone up in china and fuel prices are up which increases shipping costs.
I've been quite surprised lately with some repair parts. The AC compressor was Singapore being a Sanden, but the receiver dryer, expansion valve, and high limit switch all had Made in the USA right on em. Three speed fan switch for a four wheel drive tractor and a replacement switch for a mini excavator also made in the USA.
Of course if electric prices go thru the roof with Obama's war on coal expect manufacturing to head right back overseas.

gotta really hunt to find something MADE IN CANADA

Correct me someone if I am incorrect here but aren't a good portion of Stihl brand power equipment machines made in Canada? :-\
