Title: Logstor fittings
Post by: NorthCounty on July 30, 2014, 12:49:49 PM
I must say, I'm a little confused. I'm going to be starting my P&M BL2840 install in the coming weeks and I'm trying to figure out the plumbing. Am I understanding correctly that the 1" dual pexflex pipe is a different size than 1" pex? What do I need to look for to connect the two inside the house? I'm planning on bringing the pexflex in the crawl space about 20' to the basement then going on from there with pex. Can I use copper instead of pex? I'm not sure I want too, just trying to figure out all of my options.

This is a great forum and I have gotten a lot of great ideas from here, but sometimes it makes me think of more questions.

Since the pex is a full inch on the inside it does use different fittings. They have some for connecting to copper and pex. Just specify what you will be using. I got mine from P and M when I ordered my furnace and Logstor
