Hey slimjim do you normally take the factory 90's off and reseal the threads or does the factory do a good job on sealing them ?

Thanks. I am all set on the plumbing. you were going to bring out a new piece of smoke pipe to replace the used one that was in the box. I forgot to ask you, there is a sheet metal pan and what looks like a sheet metal handle in the bottom of the back of the boiler. What is this for ?

Ok, we are going camping Friday for the labor day weekend so hopefully I see you guys before that. As always my place is open to you guys anytime. I have some questions on making the boiler cold start and abandoning the hot water coils. would you like me to start a thread about this ?
