Title: Question on running new lines
Post by: shoebox on September 03, 2014, 09:24:33 PM: I am going to b running 80' of 1" theropex to my house. The question I have is: am I going to have a problem reducing down to 3/4" just outside of my foundation? Everything is already set up for 3/4", if it not to big of problem I don't really want to knock a hole in my foundation again. Imput would be greatly appreciated!

Post by: MerrellRoofing on September 03, 2014, 09:38:12 PM: I say make a hole and run the thermopex thru the foundation. It sucks to have to do it, but it's the right way.

Post by: Crow on September 04, 2014, 05:00:12 AM: I would also suggest taking the new line through the wall. Keeps water from entering your insulation and makes monitoring for leaks much easier.
