Title: Remote temp sensor advise

I read a post some time back where it was posted about using a Maverick ET-732 barbeque remote temp sensor using this unit so you could read the stove temp from inside your house. When I searched for this unit it had about 10 different kind on the search, and I wonder if you could advise what unit might do the job best, and how you would hook up this kind of unit (if it would even work).  I have a Heatmaster 3000E.  Thanks for any advise any of you may be able to give.  DON

I have the et-73 , it works good , you tape one probe to incoming line and the other to return line , so you know stove temp and return temp. also your delta t . mine runs about 6 degrees off.  ( stove temp 176 will read 170 )

I have the ET-7 (I think-check out page 3 of the for sale section here).
I bought it used from former member ridgekid.
It'll be three years in January and it has worked flawlessly.
I have mine taped and insulated to the in/out lines too.
Mine reads around 13* lower than my boiler. (195 vs 182)
I see about a 25* drop when furnace and hot water are called for.
