Welcome to the site solarman, I'm just across the fence from you over here in Maine. How long have you been in the business? You said you finally got onto the forum, was there a problem with registering?
-
Hi Slim, thanks for the welcome.
Quite new to the business only been doing it for a couple of years part time.
Signed up to the forum about 3 months ago, but could not log in till recently.

Well welcome aboard, sorry for the delay on the forum! If you ever get down to southern Maine, be sure to stop by and say Hi.

Next time I am in Maine I will look you up.

Solarman,
Do you have any pics of your plumbing at the back of the stove without the insulation. I would like to see how you hooked up your 6000? Thanks,
-
Just looked through my pics and sorry I don't.
I used all 1" brass fittings and pipe, going to 1" pex.

Thank you. Going to plumbing supply today to purchase stove fittings. Once that is finished, I'll go back for the pump and heat exchanger fittings. We are putting the pump in the house. Did you end up using the schematic that Tim & Craig provided?
-
hi Vincent
Yes used the schematic, everybody's will be a little different according to where the supply and return lines come up to the stove, but yes used the valves in supply and return, and the boiler drain in the return line as a fill point.
Also wired the stove so it can be unplugged and plugged into a generator in case of power outage.
The pump in the house is the best place when the install allows.
Good luck with the install.
