I'm stumped as well, has to be the storage on the site is full again (I'm guessing). Would rather see the storage upgraded than having to start to delete old pictures.

Another thing you can try is using Photobucket (or something similar) until we get this figured out and just post links to the pictures instead of trying to upload them to the site. Anybody looking at the pictures can simply right click the link and select "open in new tab".

Because pictures are large files and the amount of server space for such files is limited by the amount of money the owner is spending on this site. ;)

Help everyone and "host" your pictures elsewhere but you can still easily display them hear at OWFI.com in your post.  I have created a short "How To" for those that may wish to do this (it is highly encouraged).

LINK:  A "How To" for Posting Pictures from a Picture-Hosting Site (Click Here) (http://outdoorwoodfurnaceinfo.com/forum/index.php?topic=6681.msg54370#msg54370)

If you have any trouble posting pictures in this manner, simply ask a site Moderator (Sprinter, mlappin, or Sloppy_Snood) and we will help guide you until this process is 2nd nature to you. Cheers!  -Slopster

How about deleting the unnessecary ones? I'm doubting there will be an upgrade but you never know, moderating happened.

Who's to decide what is unnecessary? One person opinion of wasted space is another person disappointed they couldn't see it.

How much$, perhaps a small donation from those who have been helped by the photo's would help the owners secure more space, I've got the first $50 in my pocket right now, I think that would be a very small price to pay for what I have gained by being here, How about it there Mr. Moderators, is this something that could be done?

Well we could contact Simple Machine and see what they say, but ultimately I think they'll say it's up to the owner to upgrade the on site storage limits.

Would you take the lead on that Please Marty?

Maybe should open it up for donations. Paypal it to the moderator or site owner? $20 suggested donation?

Actually, I think Godaddy hosts the site, that's where the storage issue would lie I'm sure.

Putting your photos off site is really no big deal, and it's done all day, every day by thousands.
Besides Photo Bucket, there are other sites, one being "Flickr".  (Yes, it's spelled correctly) :)

I have checked with GoDaddy, the sites host and without proper account information they can't tell me  a thing. I'm certain the current problem with uploading photos is because our storage allotment is full. If you go thru older posts a lot of those pictures were deleted by admin for "space reasons".

I'l try contacting the owner directly and see what happens.

Could it be the type of file or size that is blocking you?
