Title: 4400 component question

   I have completed the install of a 4400. I haven't fired it yet, but when I turn the draft fan on I cannot hear it run. Should I hear it? Does the furnace have to be fired up to operating temp then drop the differential in temp before the fan will come on ? Thanks for any info

your should heard the fan turn on.. you dont need a fire to have the fan turn on..have you tried puttin the thermostat up to make it come on?..

Sawdust 
You need to turn on the switch and then hold the set and the down bottom at the same time and it should start.
Mine did the same thing and I have to do this every winter after the power has been off all summer.

Dirt slinger,   Thanks for the reply I tried it the way you suggested, fan started like it should. Some vibration initially but was remedied with small piece of rubber wedged between the two parts of the fan cover.
