Title: Interesting observation

This year I am heating my 1100 sqft shop with my 250. For the last week I have been keeping tract of wood use. If I keep the shop at 68 as opposed to 70 my wood use is drastically reduced.

I wondered about that, are we talking a log or more per fill?  I hate being so unscientific, but I know if you go by weight you have to have a scale and know moisture content....
