Possibly,,, OPEC is just letting the sweet crude levels in the market get flooded in in order to hurt U.S. (and Haliburton financed) oil shale production in the Bakken oil shale formation in the Dakotas and oil shale fields in Texas. Kinda sucks because my Bakken stock investments are down. :-\

Do you really think Obama wants that name associated with his? Plus, I don't think Cheney would be too happy if someone else started playing with his puppets.

Good. :post: :post:
I've been to England a few times to visit the wife's family, also been to France and Scotland while there. High fuel prices there are roughly half tax, Scotland and England's roads are okay but not great considering what they pay for fuel, Frances roads though are absolutely brilliant.
The european model of public transportation can never work in the United States. England proper isn't even the size of Michigan, and while I can get anywhere in England from her aunt's house using their public transportation, it's not that easy nor affordable if you have to go very far. It was actually a tad cheaper to fly to Inverness from London on Easyjet than take the train, not to mention about 14 hours quicker. I can get from Felixstowe (her aunts) to London on our own, requires a train trip, get on a bus to another station, then back on the train, then end up in London, takes about twice as long as driving it, easier and actually costs less just to buy one of her cousins a tank of petrol.

I've been wondering if there isn't a plan to have everyone move to the city, with all farm land being owned by corporations. Eliminate the small town and country living in order to "save the enviroment. Also, perhaps a plan to ensure everyone has a permit before cutting down a tree to limit Greenhouse gas emissions. :o

The city's can't handle the people they already have let alone the influx of rural people who DON'T want to be there.
Some of the more self sufficient types would never move anyways....
Regardless of who owns it, it takes a lot more than just book smarts to be able to farm it...
