I have a Wood Doctor Outdoor Boiler that is being used to heat my home which has in floor ( radiant ) heating. The water temperature going through the house is 90 degrees F. I have the controls on the boiler set at 165 degree low limit with 5 degree offset and the high limit is 190 degrees. Are these settings correct for the type of heating I have? This is my first Winter in this home and my first experience with an outdoor wood boiler. Hope someone can help me out on this.

Set you high limit shut off at 200 bring your low limit to 175 with a 10 degree differential, that's how I would set it.

Set your high limit to 190 and the low limit to 175 in the colder times. Setting high limt at 200 will allow the boiler to overheat the water in the top of the stove and 200' is the factory setting for the 2nd safety aquastat.

Yes that was the high limit I was talking about redlegs numbers were just different that what most use. Most people talk about their setpoint not their low limit, I should have clarified that the 200 degree was the safety shutoff.

one more thing, I would raise your in floor temp to at least 120...90 I think is abit low...

Is your radiant in slab or staple up und subfloor that will determine your temp settings on your radiant heat..A water temperature range of 120 to 135 degrees is ideal Of coarse depending on your system and heat load.
