Need help I have a g200 Seems as if it  is not getting air,fans good,damper is open it roars when I have the door open but when I shout it the fire box fills up with smoke and the fire goes out but the funny thing is I still have smoke coming out the chimney,I cleaned it every place I know unless I'm missing someplace,this is a 2012,i see they redesigned the G series mine has the tubes on the top,I getting real disgusted with this unit,any suggestions ?

Is it gassifying good.  The slots in the bottom of the fire box could be plugged also make sure that you scrape the bottom of the firebox well.  Ash can build up and insulate the block the slots so you don't get good heat transfer.

I personally have never seen one of Heatmasters gassers but I can tell you that any gasser I have serviced has issues with nozzles plugging, perhaps it is sililar to ours. The biggest issue we have is that folks feed the stove to much and it builds a deep bed of coals that plug up the nozzle. Look at it this way, if there is any obstruction to the air flow, anyplace within its air passages then the air flow will be reduced and the stove will not gasify! Suggestion, call your dealer and get his opinion, if that gets you nowhere then call the company office for their suggestions, I'm sure that with some patience it can be figured out, I don't think they have a lot of them out there yet and would like the feedback!

I believe there is a compartment in the back accessable via a small panel in the rear. It serves as a passageway for the exhaust from the gasification chamber to the flues. It is possible that that has built up with ash, creosote, or the likes. I've never heard of it happening though.

I PMed him and he said he talked to Wally at the factory. Thought he had it figured out.
