Wondering how the E3200 units are working and if there are any issues. Looking at the E3200 or the G400 by Heatmaster.

It is working ok, a lot of smoke though. It is undersized for my loads when it is really cold out and it isn't hooked up to all of my loads right now. I always use seasoned wood so I am looking at a bigger gasser unit.

OK, well then I guess I should take the wait and see attitude until after I get back from the HeatMaster factory in a couple of weeks, I will be setting up a trailer to burn the G-200 at shows and perhaps this year will be trying a G-400 here at my place to use instead of my old Wood Doctor, it is starting to get some age on it and as a new rep for HeatMaster it would only seem right that I should be burning one. After I replace the bottom of the Wood Doctor, it should net a pretty good price for resale as the conventional's will be in pretty high demand after the new EPA rules take effect in 6 weeks or so, are you going to try and resell your M-L?

Yes, I only have one season on the P&M, so I will sell it hoping to get a fair price. I like some of the features on the CB E3200 but am leaning towards the Heatmaster G400 to replace it. I'd like to get more input from owners but we'll see.

Everything I've read people are extremely happy with their G200's, seems like the G400 is just it's big brother and should work as well.

On my fourth season on a E3200. Finally running good. Musts are dry wood. Aged for 2 to 3 years. If you can figure out the settings of the air cover height correctly it will burn clean. But with stock settings it will smoke worse than a fire place burning green wood.
If you want a pain in the rear get the E3200. No hard wood is best.
Adjust primary solenoid so it opens to max
Secondary low and high adjust solenoid so they only open about 1/8 to 3/16 of a inch. Then I put a 18x28 inch 3/8 steel plate on top of the secondary air tube with a 8 x 6 inch opening above the refractory. Providing a better separation of the primary burn chamber and the secondary air tube. Highest burn temp after changes is 1784 degrees. Very clean and efficient now.
Last year I burned 17 cord. This year maybe 10.

My e1450 same idea work flawless dry is important but I think there is a lot of learning to get it perfect lots of variables no ones setup is the same I wouldn't trade mine for any works unreal smoke what's that u most have something wood settings ? Not set to the best performance things like to big of a unit for heat load the burn interval is to far apart lots of things affect how these thing perform I DONT THINK ITS THE E3200
