Do you hands hurt constantly from grabbing and moving wood holding up and down the long way. Meaning you grab the wood on the log end with your hand on top and the log dangling down to carry it? My hands are always in pain doing wood. Anyone experience same?

I think you will find you have tendonitis. I get it when doing a lot of framing(swinging a hammer) or splitting/stacking firewood and grabbing the ends of the pieces. It's a dull pain that will wake you up at night and just lingers. Lots of ibuprofen.

Or a good bourbon... ;)

And, not so good bourbon if the pain is bad enough. :-\ I have some arthritis in my knuckles so I know where you're coming from. If I don't push it too hard, the pain is somewhat bearable. It's at worst during the late fall rains when the ambient air temps are low and it's really damp outside. Roger

Went a little crazy the first year of splitting and stacking. Picked up all the wood that way also and my forearms and elbows ached for at least 6 months afterwards. :'( I don't do that anymore.

That is actually tennis elbow. Running the chainsaw contributes to this also. The only cure is rest. You can bandaid it with one of those ACE bands that Velcro below your elbow. They seem to work quite well, along with ibuprofen!

These are the cats meow. pick firewood up with ease especially pieces that are to big to grab with one hand. Don't have to bend all the way to the ground either. I will never do without.

Great idea, you (I,ME) would need a pair of them. Have to look into a set.

I have both the 8" and the 12" and for me the 12" is MUCH nicer. The 8" is too often not quite big enough and the 12 will grip dow pretty small. Mine are Huskys.
