The Hardy OWBs have the capability to automatically switch from wood to propane if the water temperature becomes too low. Does anyone use that feature? Mine worked fine until I sent the unit back for repair (see my other posting on replaced unit). I am wondering if the sensor is bad or if it is something else? It is a simple setup, a sensor that touches the back of the unit and does its thing when it gets cold. Anyone have any thoughts?
I guess all these units have the capability to automatically switch, but not everyone uses it.
