There is a good thread on the BL shut down but is the 250 the same or different to shut down ?

Thanks Slim. Should I take all the brick out of the bottom of the boiler and clean all that also ?

If you like but I really see no reason to as there should be very little ash behind the bricks and no moisture.

I made a 4' long blow gun with a 45 degree reducing tip on the end.  Works great for getting all the ash out of those hard to reach places.
