Title: Motorcycle ride
Post by: Roger2561 on April 07, 2015, 04:14:28 PM
Well, I finally got the motorcycle reassemble this morning (the rear tire needed replacing) .  After I ate lunch I took the car around town to be sure sand wasn't going to be an issue.  It wasn't.  So, around 1:30pm I jumped on the motorcycle and went for a short ride around town. Man, did that ever feel good.  The temps were in the mid 40's and a bit cloudy.  It was a bit chilly but I was dressed for it.  The frost heaves are great way to test your reflexes.  I can't wait to go again.  Roger

No thanks, not on a cruiser.  They don't handle that well is slick conditions even with a studded tire.  I have no first hand experience with this, that's what I've been told and I'll take his word for it.  Roger

I've been so busy I haven't even thought about getting mine out yet.   I've got an 11 week old boy at home that has been taking up most of my time.  My wife almost killed me when I told her I was thinking about selling the Harley.  I guess it's not an option for her...

It's suppose to be in the 60's and sunny on Sunday so I see a ride coming on Sunday afternoon.  It'll be good to shake her out before the serious riding arrives.  Gotta get through the snow we're expected to get tonight.  It'll be a good day getting work done inside the house.  Been running the chainsaw - phew! that's hard work.

Airforce - Congratulations on the newborn.
