I'm installing a new heatmaster. I added a kickspace heater in my bedroom as it is sometimes cooler in that room. It uses 1/2" line. I have a single loop running to my sidearm, then going to my water to air in my furnace, then before the line loops back outside to the furnace I have a 1"X1"x1/2" tee then 14inchs down the line is a Venturi Tee where the return from the kickspace heater goes back into. This is plumbed the way the kickspace heater instructions stated. Will I be able to get all the air out of the lines? The instructions showed having a air bleeder before and after the heater but the Heatmaster is not a pressurized system so I hoped all the air would work itself out. Am I living a dream or will it work.

I would doubt there will be enough flow to drive the air down without forcing water through the line.

If you put a valve between the tees you could easily bleed the air out by just closing it till the air is all flushed out.

You know I thought about putting a valve In between cause it would have to force the air out. My only concern is a valve is smaller than the normal 1 inch pipe and I didn't wanna add more restriction to my loop

The Venturi Tee on the return side is suppose to create a suction and help with the flow though the heater

Will using galvanized bushings the loop hurt anything? I have a 1.5inch ball valve. I could use two bushings to step down to 1 inch. Then thread 2 1inch copper male adapters into the bushings and sweat that between the tees. That big of valve wouldn't cause Any restriction

You can buy full port ball valves.

Never heard of that. Will the galvanized hurt anything?

Some boiler antifreezes say right on specifically "not for use with galvanized". If your not running antifreeze and never plan to....

I never plan to use antifreeze. I'll be running a heatmaster and I don't think it's nessasry. SlimjIm can chime in
