Title: Shut down the boiler =NO HOT WATER
Post by: BrentG on May 03, 2015, 03:51:31 PM
Hello,
I shut my boiler down Saturday morning and now I'm without hot water.  I'm not sure what's going on. I closed the valve that usually brings the boiler water to the hot water tank.  The breaker is on. I even kicked it off and back on to verify.  Anyone else have this issue?

Is it a electric water heater?  Are you sure it's operational?  How is your setup plumbed?

It was operational in December, my boiler was just installed and I replaced a heating element a year ago.
I don't know how to post pics on here...

Check the reset button on the element thermostat if it is an electric heater.

Check the reset button on the element thermostat if it is an electric heater.

I pushed it and it clicked. Should it click? Is there just one located on the top element? 50gal tank
