Greetings Forum Members!
You will see that we are working on a slightly revised forum layout. We are separating manufacturers into two classifications - those who offer EPA-Certified OWBs and those who do not. We have also added a few of the EPA-certified brands found on the EPA Burnwise list of hydronic heaters.
Note that for those manufacturers who still sell traditional furnaces, if they offer an EPA-certified furnace, they will be included in the EPA-Certified section, and all comments relating to their traditional furnaces will follow to the new section.
Please let us know of any comments you may have. We will continue to make further improvements to the site as this industry evolves. This is certainly an interesting time to be part of this industry!
Regards,
The OWFI Team

Looking forward to said changes. Here's a question I'm sure several members would like to see advancements... Could we improve the ease of attaching pictures ? Look forward to your reply.

Empyre should be in the EPA certified category.

But Empyre is in the list of NON-EPA only stoves still.
Also, Heatsource1 had EPA stoves before they went out of business.
What about making a 3rd section for brands that are no longer in business.

Would be nice for those that unfortunately own a stove that the manufacturer is no longer in business.

I thought a while back that aquatherm had a gassifier but it's not on their web site anymore. Any input?

Aqua-Therm does have a gasifier indoor model..Sometime in the near future they will be announcing epa 2 outdoor wood boiler.. So since the the layout kinda change..Maybe a section for the coal boilers, Like Aqua-therm has??.. Coal boilers have no part in this epa phase..

they had made a new front page to their web site ... using a "coal one" like I had .....they pulled it a week latter. they are on "go fund me" for what that's worth... the end is near.........
